Happy New Year

Published January 1, 2018

As we start a new year let’s stay focused on being the best that we can be.  To do that, we must manage whatever life has in store – including (peri)menopause and it’s symptoms. We encourage you to utilize MENO-Vations a.k.a. Menopause Motivations and take a few minutes each day to reflect – on any of the topics as well as the impact of the art.  By centering yourself, you stay calm and in control rather than being controlled by your symptoms. The book is compact enough to keep with you in your bag, at your desk, in your glove box, etc. so that you can take a MENO-Vations break whenever you need to.

In addition to your personal reflection time, have a MENO-Vations gathering with your “girls” for a fun and informative experience.  One person (the facilitator) reads a particular topic and it’s suggested actions. Everyone then shares their reflection including how they handle(d) the issue.  Or, the facilitator selects a particular art piece and shares thoughts and feelings on it as it relates to “womanly issues”.  Keep it light, honest, and positive. It’s about being a support system for each other by sharing and caring. Add music and a bottle of wine and the fun will go on for awhile.
