Symptoms, Diagnosis & Treatments

There are many signs and symptoms of Low Testosterone. Some are more closely related to Low T levels. Others may not necessarily be linked (non-specific signs and symptoms). Your provider will help you make sense of your own situation.
There are some symptoms that are more likely or directly linked to Low T such as:
-
Reduced sex drive
-
Reduced erectile function
-
Loss of body hair
-
Less beard growth
-
Loss of lean muscle mass
-
Feeling very tired all the time (fatigue)
-
Obesity (being overweight)
-
Symptoms of depression
-
Lower energy level, endurance and physical strength
-
Poor memory
-
Difficulty with finding words to say
-
Poor focus
-
Not doing well at work
Having any one of the symptoms may not mean that you have Low T. But if you have a mix of symptoms, for instance, if you start to feel very tired and sad over a period of time and this is a change for you, you may want to check for Low T.
Low sexual desire alone may not mean that you have Low T. But if you have a combination of low sexual desire, reduced erectile function, and feelings of sadness and tiredness, then you should be evaluated.

Although many symptoms may be tied to Low Testosterone, total blood testosterone level is the most important measure of testosterone deficiency. To make a diagnosis, your doctor will use other specific signs and symptoms in addition to your testosterone blood level.
At your virtual visit, your health history will be taken, and the provider will discuss the signs and symptoms that you are experiencing.
Along with a thorough examination of your health history, lab tests need to also be performed to confirm low testosterone levels. These tests include a free and total testosterone, luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone, complete blood count, comprehensive metabolic panel, prolactin, estradiol and hemaglobin A1C.

MENovations Wellness offer three different ways to take testosterone. They are: injections, gels and pills. No method is better than another. While you are taking TRT, your provider will test your blood periodically to determine testosterone levels in order to get your dosing dialed in.
Here are some details about the three different methods:
-
Injection. The medicine may be given under the skin or in the muscle. Injections are usually given either weekly or every two weeks, but we have found that dividing a weekly dose into two smaller injections keep levels at a more steady state.
Testosterone Cypionate
-
Gels/Creams. There are topical gels and creams. Topical medicines should be applied daily. They absorb better if covered with an air- or water- tight dressing.
Testosterone Gel 20%
-
Pills. The oral dosing comes in pill form making it a less painful solution to weekly injections. The drug is released over 12 hours so should be taken twice daily.
Testosterone Undecanoate Oral (Kyzatrex)
You may want to choose how you take your testosterone based on what is best or most useful for you.
Hormone Boosting

Hormone Therapy for men can help restore hormone balance and improve overall health. Clomiphene citrate (Clomid) and Enclomiphine can be used to increase FSH and LH levels to stimulate testosterone production, resulting in increased testosterone levels. This can help improve energy levels, libido, and strength.
Clomiphene citrate (Clomid) also helps with fertility by increasing sperm production, which is a process that needs testosterone. If you are experiencing symptoms of low testosterone and you are still interested in having more children, then clomiphene citrate is the best choice for you versus testosterone replacement. It is also an excellent choice if you simply would rather try and push your own body to produce more testosterone.

Enclomiphene Citrate is a hormone enhancement product specifically designed for men's health. It is an alternative to Clomiphene Citrate, and offers fewer side effects while still providing the same benefits. Enclomiphine Citrate helps to boost testosterone levels, allowing men to experience improved energy levels, increased libido, and improved muscle mass. This product is ideal for men looking to improve their overall health and well-being.
